Ellison

Here is Ellison - already 6 months old! I know Mom probably thinks we didn't get any smiling shots, but we DID! I won't be able to finish editing these until after Christmas, so I wanted to give them a little preview. Here are a few of my favorites so far:

The Chick Family

I photographed Jennifer & Dave's wedding a couple of years ago, and now I had the privilege of photographing them with their son! He is one year old and just as cute as he can be. This was also his FIRST visit to the beach!

My Nieces!

My nieces came to have their Christmas photos taken and I can't believe how big the youngest already is! Seems like I just did her "baby" photos and now she is 19 months old! The oldest was very patient while we waited for her little sister to decide to stay in one spot and we finally got some really cute shots.

Sam

I finally got to meet Sam! I did his mom's maternity portraits in July and couldn't wait for the baby to get here! Mom and Dad were ecstatic and grinning from ear to ear! Here is their new bundle of joy, Sam.

Ellison

This is Ellison, one of my newest baby planners. Seems like I've had alot of little boys lately, so I was incredibly happy to have Ellison to photograph. Of course, it doesn't hurt that she is absolutely gorgeous!! I can't wait to see her change and grow over the next year.

Any individual that has been diagnosed with breast cancer or completed treatment within the past 12 months qualifies for a Think Pink Session. Sessions are available to document the fight before or during treatment or to celebrate the victory when treatment is complete.

Betsy & Jon

Betsy & Jon had a wonderful wedding at the Hilton in Myrtle Beach. Not only is Betsy one of the sweetest people you could ever meet, the day was gorgeous and the reception was incredibly fun - lots of beach music and shagging! Here is a sneak peek of their proofs.

Senior Photos!

So, I just started this blog and I'm already falling behind on updates! It's been really busy this summer, so let me update everyone on a few sessions I've had.

First, is Jaelyn, a beautiful senior from Pennsylvania. Her mom said she had always wanted to have Jaelyn's senior portraits done at the beach, ever since she was little. So, in August, they came down for a vacation and she had them done. Meet Jaelyn:

Look Who Is "2"!!

I have been photographing Trey since he was 3 weeks old - and now he is already 2! He is such a cutie and a ball of energy. His photo sessions are never boring, that's for sure! I've captured him being angelic, as well as a bit devilish! Here is one to celebrate the big "2" - a definite "angelic" shot!

Brand New!

Meet John - he's only 2 weeks old! He is absolutely precious and he "adored" my soft, fuzzy blanket. Mom & Dad said they definitely need to get one for him to have at home. He curled up and went right to sleep! Here is a preview:

A June Wedding

On June 2nd, I had the pleasure of photographing Rachel and Jon's wedding in Jacksonville. The reception was held at the Officer's Club on Camp Lejeune. Rachel and Jon were such a sweet couple - and I think they had just about the nicest family I've met in quite a while. We did have to dodge a bit of rain, but it didn't seem to bother the happy couple at all! Here are a couple of favorites.

Dogs Everywhere!

I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph dogs and their families for a fundraising event to benefit a Caroline Canines family. This little cutie is Tamara and she is being raised and trained to be a very important dog.

Meet Riley!

This is Riley - one of the happiest babies I've met in quite a while! From the moment he walked (or was carried) through the door, he was smiling. The session went wonderfully and we got a lot of great shots. Here are a couple of favorites:

The Miller Kids

Here are the Miller kids! They were alot of fun to photograph. Mom wanted fun, casual, catch-them-as-they-are shots and I think we definitely caught that. These were taken at the New Hanover County Arboretum.

Meet Rachel, a beautiful June bride! I can tell her wedding is going to be alot of fun! This was actually my first meeting with Rachel. She is such a sweet and easy going person. It made it easy and fun to get some great images of her.

Yep, I've finally taken the leap into the world of blogging. I hope to use this blog to keep everyone up to date with Lisa Baker Photography. I will show some favorite images from recent sessions, post a few specials and discounts, and post about what's "new" with me.

So, I'll get started with a recent engagement session. This is Betsy & Jon. They are a wonderful couple, getting married in September. We had so much fun at their session and I think it really shows in their images! Can't wait until the wedding!
